THE ROLE

  • Prepare scope of work for all trades and forward to potential subcontractors to receive their proposals

  • Analyze and prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related construction documents

  • Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information

  • Maintain cost databases by entering and backing up data

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Attend job site walk-thru’s to review project scope

  • Solicit RFI's from subcontractors and develop RFI's after plan review

  • Communicate with field personnel and suppliers as needed.

THE INDIVIDUAL

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in fast past construction environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Estimating Softwares.

  • Excellent communication, organizational and relationship building skills

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Team player

  • Strong attention to detail
